Questions people ask before signing up
Do you charge per member?
No. One annual price per club, whatever its size. A club with 40 members and a club with 400 pay the same, and neither pays a fee on top of a membership payment.
Do you take a cut of membership payments?
No. Membership money goes from the member to the club's own payment provider account. We never sit in the middle of it and we never hold club funds.
What happens to our data if we leave?
You ask, and we export it. Member records, payments history and bookings come out in a standard format. Data is kept for six years after a club leaves, to match the retention a club office is expected to keep, and then deleted.
Do members need to install anything from an app store?
No. It is a website that installs to the home screen the first time a member visits. Nothing is downloaded from the App Store or Play Store, and there is no app-store account involved.
Does it work offline?
Range booking does. A booking made with no signal is held on the phone and sent when the signal returns. Payments and Direct Debits are never queued — money always needs a live connection, so a member is never left unsure whether they paid.
Is this legal advice on firearm certificates?
No, and it is not intended to be. The app helps a club office keep its records in order and links to the official guidance from the police and the Home Office. Where the rules change, the app quotes the current rule and links to its source rather than paraphrasing it.
Still not sure?
Ask us the awkward question — what happens when we leave, who owns the data, what it costs in year three. We would rather answer it now than have you find out later.
